David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. David has served as the President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and was awarded the John E. Wolf Citizenship Cup from the Houston Association of Realtors.

In addition to his professional activities, David has served on numerous real estate and civic committees including serving as President of the Rotary Club of Houston, Chairman of the Rotary Club of Houston Foundation and Chairman of the Rotary Lombardi Award. David is a Life Member of the Ex-Students Association of the University of Texas and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo serving on the Commercial Exhibits Committee. David is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Houston Association of Realtors for 2001-2002.
